Terms of service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These terms govern the use of EAA Sentinel and the purchase of its products. By using the service you accept them.
The provider
The service is provided by EAA Sentinel, email info@eaasentinel.com.
What the service does (and doesn't do)
EAA Sentinel runs automated accessibility scans based on the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria and produces technical reports with fix instructions. Automated analysis detects on average 30-40% of WCAG issues — the machine-verifiable ones: a good score does not equal full compliance, which also requires manual checks.
The service is a technical support tool: it does not constitute legal advice or official certification of compliance with the European Accessibility Act or any other regulation. The badge included in the report only attests that the site underwent a technical check on a given date.
Who it is for
The service is intended for companies, professionals and organisations (B2B use). Prices exclude VAT. You may only analyse websites you own or are authorised to analyse by their owner.
Fair use of the service
You are responsible for the scans you request: by starting one you declare that you own the site or have the owner's authorisation (for example as an agency acting for a client). If you request the analysis of a site without such title, you hold the provider harmless from any third-party claim in that regard.
The scan visits the public pages of the site with an automated browser, using read-only requests at a limited pace, much like a regular visitor. Some sites with anti-bot protections may not be analysable: in that case we tell you.
You may not circumvent the technical limits of the service (for example by mass-automating free scans) nor use the results to harm the analysed site or third parties.
Products and pricing
- Free scan: automated analysis of up to 3 pages, with a score and a preview of the main issues.
- Full report — €49 one-time: analysis of up to 50 pages and a PDF report with every issue found and fix instructions.
- Monitoring — €29/month: automatic weekly scan, email alerts on new issues and a dashboard with history.
Payments and delivery
Payments are handled by Stripe. The full report is processed right after payment and is usually ready in 5-15 minutes; complex sites can take longer. If your site is unreachable from our systems at analysis time we re-run the scan; if the report cannot be generated due to our fault, we refund the purchase.
Right of withdrawal
The service targets companies and professionals (B2B use), to whom the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply.
If you exceptionally purchase as a consumer: by buying the full report you expressly request the immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that, once the report is delivered, the right of withdrawal lapses (art. 59(1)(o) of the Italian Consumer Code, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU). For the monitoring subscription you may withdraw within 14 days of activation by writing to info@eaasentinel.com: we refund the amount net of the service already provided. After 14 days, the free cancellation described below applies.
Cancelling monitoring
You can cancel the subscription at any time from the customer area ("Manage subscription"). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; no partial refunds are given for periods already started.
Report and badge: what you may do with them
The report you buy is yours: you can share it with whoever develops or manages the site and, if you act as an agency, with the client you requested it for.
The verification badge may only be displayed in its original format and presented for what it is: an attestation that the site underwent a technical accessibility check on a given date, with the score shown. It may not be presented as a certification of compliance with the European Accessibility Act or any other regulation. In case of misleading use we may request its removal.
Service availability
The service is provided with due care but without a guarantee of continuous availability: interruptions may occur for maintenance or technical reasons. If an interruption prevents the delivery of a purchased report, the above applies: we re-run the analysis or refund the purchase.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is": we do not guarantee that the absence of detected issues equals legal compliance, nor are we liable for fines, claims or damages arising from decisions taken based on the reports. In any case our liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the last 12 months.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the court of Pontedera, except where the law provides for a mandatory venue.
Changes
We may update these terms: changes apply to purchases made after publication. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this page.
